Every Sunday Service there is a short talk for the children before the children head over to the hall for our Sunday School, known as Kids Kirk. Here you will find the most recent Activity Time Children's Talk.

What happens at Kid's Kirk?
When you hear Alan say – “Now the children will leave us to go over to Kids Kirk” Do you wonder what happens?
The Children are split into two groups. Junior Kids Kirk for the children under Primary 5, and Senior Kids Kirk for the children in Primary 5 and above.

Chat and Share.
We always start with a circle time of “chat” where we find out how everyone’s week has been. The children share their highlights and anything that has made them a bit sad during the week. This then forms the basis of a prayer time that we will have with them either then or later on. |

Craft, Bible and us.
We follow the bible story read in Church and discuss its meaning. We have a great resource of Godly Play characters and sometimes we use them to retell the story. Then there is a craft relating to the story or a bit of play. Towards the end of Kids Kirk we usually have a snack and juice time – we break bread together, just as Jesus asked us to do. |
Senior Kids Kirk
Our older children in Kids Kirk are stating a new bible familiarity course, The Boxes of Discovery will lead the children through a child friendly view of the bible. More details can be found on this soon.

Being a Leader in Kids Kirk is both very rewarding and challenging. Our kid's Kirk children are important to us and we care very much about being a part of their education and Church family. We are always delighted to welcome new families and their children. We would invite anyone who wishes to help, to talk to us and find out more about how you can help, contact us.
