Kandy Project

We have sponsored the Church of Scotland World Mission Project with the Presbyterian Church (Scots Kirk) in Kandy, Sri Lanka since 2005.

The East Church has also partnered with the Scots Kirk’s Community Based Rehabilitation project operated by the Women’s Development Centre in Kandy.

​This is an established project helping the disabled and disadvantaged from all ethnic and religious communities as well as other social programmes like building and providing accommodation for families.
