God,
look down from heaven:
Here on earth you'll see
Someone looking upwards-
That someone is me.

God
I want so much to be good
but sometimes I bubble over with excitement
and it all goes wrong
 When that happens
put me back together again
and help me begin again.

Next week we celebrate the birthday of the church.
We call the day Pentecost.
You could spend time this week finding out more about the birthday.
A good place to start might be reading the story of Pentecost in the Bible. You can find it in the New Testament. Look for the book of the Acts of the Apostles-it's the start of chapter 2.
